Preparation (20 min before open)

Review the lesson plans in the CHS Teacher Hub

Understand the discussion + process. Ask the Studio Manager questions early if anything’s unclear.

Check class rosters in care.com on the iPad

Note who was absent previously and any make-up students coming—plan for different “stages.”

Pull student work

Lay out each artist’s in-progress pieces and quickly assess: ready to go home / needs more time / ready to move on.

Prep materials

Gather and set up what you’ll need (ex: count out paper, pre-portion supplies, organize stations).
