9:45 AM — Host Family Load-In (15 minutes before)
- Greet the host family
- Show them the kitchenette (fridge and sink) for storing food/cake
- Help them set up any food, decorations, or personal touches in the party room
10:00 AM — Party Starts / Welcome Craft (first 15-20 minutes)
- As guests arrive, greet children and guide them to Studio Moon
- Children are seated and begin making Birthday Cards for the guest of honor
- This is a calm, self-paced activity that accommodates staggered arrivals
- One teaching artist manages the art room; the other greets families at the door and handles drop-off
10:20 AM — Main Art Project (next hour)
- Party leader gathers the group and leads a demonstration of the main art project (e.g., painting and embellishing a paper maché sculpture for a "Paper Mache Pets" party)
- Children are given materials and do their work
- Teaching artists circulate to assist, encourage, and keep things on track
11:20 AM — Transition to Party Room + Set up closing activity
