Corner House Studio runs on a school-year calendar, so our work shifts through distinct “modes” across the year: studio art classes, school-break camps, and summer camp. Each one has a different cadence, staffing need, and pace.

We staff each season based on program needs and each team member’s availability, alignment and preferences.

Studio Art Classes for Kids

Our signature program. Weekly, hour-long classes for ages 4–11 where artists explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and more in a structured studio setting. Classes run as 8-week series offered four times per year, with fresh projects and creative challenges each season.

Staff Notes

Steady predictable schedule for at least 8 weeks: Same class times week to week

High-frequency transitions: Classes are only 1 hour, so lots of transitions (arrivals, pickups, reset) in a 3-4 hour window

Continuity with students: You’ll see the same kids weekly, which creates relationship-building and routine—but also means we track attendance and progress across weeks.
