At Corner House Studio, art teachers are the heart of the experience! You are helping kids practice courage, persistence, and imagination—through art. We’ll support you with curriculum, training, and clear role boundaries so you can focus on what you do best: show up, connect, teach beautifully, and help young artists develop their creative confidence.

1. Lead Great Classes using our teaching philosophy + curriculum to build creative confidence

When you’re clocked in as a Teacher, your focus is simple: you are here for the kids. You’re holding the room—keeping them safe, seen, supported, and guided through the creative process with warmth and confidence. Your attention is on supervision, teaching, and building a steady, positive classroom culture. During programming, we don’t ask teachers to juggle admin tasks, side projects, or operational troubleshooting. The kids deserve your full presence!

2. Support Family Experience

Art teachers are “front of house” in the studio. Families feel that warmth the moment they walk in—and they should leave feeling confident their child was cared for and engaged. This doesn’t mean you handle scheduling or registration—that lives at the front desk. But it does means you help families feel connected to what’s happening in the room.
